This tour takes you to Pamplemousses Botanical Gardens, with its great collection of endemic palms, rate trees and giant water lilies. You will then visit St Francois d’Assise, the oldest church and the monument of the Confessor of Napoleon. This will be followed by a transfer to L’Aventure du Sucre (Sugar Museum) where you’ll enjoy a Sugar Adventure, an interactive tour, which unveils the fascinating history of the island. Lunch will be served at “Le Fangourin” restaurant on site. After being picked up from your hotel, you will be taken to the oldest botanical garden of the southern hemisphere, Pamplemousses Gardens, well known to naturalists of all over the world. The gardens boasts a magnificent collection of indigenous and exotic plants and the main attractions include giant water lilies, shady palm avenues and an old baobab tree, Aldabra giant tortoises and “Chateau Mon Plaisir”. Afterwards you will enjoy an orientation of the island’s capital, Port Louis, followed by time to visit Miraj and Caudan Waterfront, where you can enjoy great shopping.(check for days of operation).
